Near Saint Paul's hotel, you'll be near the very famous "plage des Dames".

You can have an escape riding bicycle or walking as you like it to the town of Noirmoutier en l'île with its historical centre, its Jacobsen pier (former towpath), the marsh of Müllenbourg and its nature reserve (bring your binoculars !!!!).
Further on you'll pace up and down the salterns via small paths to meet salt workers.
Your escapade on the island can carry on to the port of Herbaudière to the north (a fishing port and its auction market) or to the south to the Gois (a road liable to flooding you can only cross at low tide) going through l'Epine, la Guérinière and Barbâtre.
To end, a day on the island of Yeu after half an hour boat ride, discover the typical island with fishermen by bus with comment, cycling or walking as you like it.
