Little History...
3 July 1890, Blessing of the new city, named St Paul, owned by Mr and Mrs ROUSSEAU which is right next to the chapel built 2 years ago to prevent the inhabitants of Bois de la Chaize going to follow the Mass in the village .
Mr and Mrs ROUSSEAU, owners of the grocery store the main street, will rent the rooms unnecessary to "foreigners" and serve meals to guests passing through.
In 1909, Paul ROUSSEAU transforming what he calls guesthouse in Hotel. He joins Jules PERRAUD.
They call for architects who adopt the Parisian art nouveau style.
The work will be completed late 1912.
On the facade, there are two masks which were carved the initials of the owners (Pet R, R and P).
Mr Jules PERRAUD has a passion for cars is to restore Mr ROUSSEAU, adds to the good care of cars.
Then the hotel expands...
